Parent Staff Association (PSA)

The Parent Staff Association (PSA) has, over the last few years, been very successful in raising significant funds to enhance the learning environment of the school. It has also supported in friendship parents who are new to the island or to school life in general.

To date it has funded interactive white boards for classrooms; stage blocks; awnings above the classroom windows; climbing frames; sports equipment; garden furniture and a soft surface play area for the Reception Class children. More recently it funded an outdoor classroom and a sensory garden and adventure play equipment for the field. It also contributed towards the purchase of our two school minibuses. In addition, the PSA has financially supported the FCJ Sisters in their overseas development work.

More importantly, our enthusiastic team of volunteers from both staff and parents foster a sense of community and contribution, which are among the core values of the FCJ ethos. Members of the PSA feel privileged to be part of a wonderful group of committed parents. Life-long friendships are often formed during many of the social and fund-raising activities.
